The estate of “I Sorbi” has been owned by the Gerini family since 1976 when it was bought by Fernando and Maura with the desire to make it their summer home. The family still lives today in the Villa Padronale. The origins of this place, refined and welcoming, date back to the Middle Ages when the first small peasant settlement was born, which is still today part of the village of “I Sorbi”. The estate, as it appears today, is the result of a long and faithful restoration. In 1991, one of the first enrollments in the list of Tuscan farmhouses was issued to the structure. In the eighteen hectares of land the most typical of Tuscan plants are cultivated, the vine and the olive tree: the landscape thus reserves the guests of the structure the unmistakable suggestion of our hills. Managed directly by the Gerini family, who takes care of every detail in an unmistakable way, the Podere “I Sorbi” is today one of the farm holiday structures of the Florentine countryside that has made hospitality and conviviality its own style.
